How far in advance should I book my wedding date?
Most couples book six months to a year in advance. Dates are available
on a first-come-fist-serve basis. The earlier you book the better
chance you have of obtaining your desired date.RYAN RICHARD:
"Most of our wedding couples book in either January or February. But it's never too late to check!"

To book your wedding date, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer based on the price of your wedding package. The balance is then paid in two parts: 25% is due at any time prior to the wedding date, and the other 25% is due upon receipt of the wedding album.

To ensure that specific persons or groups of people are photographed at your wedding, we strongly recommmend that you prepare a list of all desired photographs and forward it to us prior to your wedding day.
How many hours of wedding photography coverage will I receive on my wedding day?
We strive to achieve premium wedding photography, as such, we do not set minimum or maximum time limits on your wedding coverage. The length of coverage depends on your itinerary. All packages include the same complete coverage which consists of the bride and groom's homes, the wedding ceremony and an additional location following the ceremony.
How long will it take to photograph the wedding pictures following the ceremony?
These images (called "formals") will take approximately 1-2 hours.
Do you photograph the reception or dance?
Packages do not include coverage of the reception or dance, although this coverage is available for an additional fee. In our experience, the vast majority of couples do not select reception or dance images for their album or prints.
How many photographs will you take at the wedding?
Unlike some photogrpahers, we do not have predetermined minimum or maximum quantities. RYAN RICHARD:
"While some photographers may set minimum and maximum quantities of photographs in their wedding packages, this does not allow for capturing all creative opportunities. The promise of large quantities of photographs does not necessarily imply quality and may even lead a photographer to take repetitive and uninspired images. I capture images of your wedding until I feel that all the photographs, as a whole, reflect premium results for your album and print orders."
What type of photography equipment do you use?
Ryan Richard Photography uses professional Canon digital cameras for all weddings.
